The idea of using planetary aspects for the trend forecast is old as pyramids. Every author gives the new name to a method and asserts his technique «really works». One of its modern renditions was in the book «The Financial Astrology for 1990s» (chapter 10, «The Predictable economy»).

According to R.Cole there are two groups of the aspects which generate a buy/sell signals and every aspect has its own weight or strength. If you trade a stock or commodity the econograph application is quite simple. In case of Forex trading you have to decide to which currency of a pair apply those buy/sell signals.
