Metatrader 4 is a most popular among general public trading platform.
AstroElite for Metatrader 4 (AEMT4) is a plug-in (indicator) that shows different astrological events (planetary aspects, retrogradation, rise/set, upper/lower culmination, eclipses, Moon phases, void of course Moon periods) directly on MT4 chart.

It is much simpler to install and operate AEMT4 than AstroElite Financial program. Also, AEMT4 is ten times cheaper and doesn't require the knowledge of astrology basics except some special glyphs meaning.

Technical details

• Data source: database built on JPL (NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory) ephemerides* calculations
• Events:
  • Aspects (Ptolemaic - 0°, 60°, 90° 120°, 180°)
  • Lunations (Moon phases - New and Full Moon, First and Last Quarter)
  • Stationary points (retrograde-direct movement)
  • Planets rising/setting, upper/lower culmination
  • Void-of-course Moon

*So called ''Swiss Ephemeris" is based on JPL ephemerides.
The 'Swiss' in the case is only a format which splits a solid JPL 54 MB data block into smaller files.

Void-of-course Moon

This is an astrological phenomenon based on Moon aspects and ingressions. VOC period ends when the Moon enter a zero degree on next zodiac signs. A period begins when the Moon makes a last aspect with planet in previous zodiac sign.

Because of absolute zodiac degrees implication, VOC periods depend on zodiac type selection. Tropical (western) and sidereal (Hindu) VOC differ.
Also VOC depends on the number of planets used (classic astrology septener - 7 planets up to Saturn or ten planets including Uranus-Pluto).
The same applies to aspects used. We use a Ptolemaic aspects set (0, 60, 90, 120 and 180°).



Due to special customer request we have initially implemented seven planets VOC calculation with Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa (sidereal zodiac).
This is very untypical use and if you want to have a classic tropical VOC, let us know and we will include that in future release.

In traditional western astrology those periods considered as unfavorable.

How to turn the feature on?
Open in MT4 the indicator properties window and set ShowVOC=true.
You may change the highlighting color for past VOC periods by editing a VOCHighlightColor variable. The upcoming periods always marked with red.
