What is a purpose of a button with L/R arrows in print setup?

This is a Swap horizontal margins button.

In case you are using a 3-hole punch folder for keeping your printouts, you need a mirror margins for both page sides printing of a single paper sheet to prevent making a hole on chart data or wheel area*.
The button allows easy mirror and restore original settings without manipulating with left and right margin values.

  • Print a front page side with left margin reserved for 3-holes
  • Take a printed page off printer and turn it to print the back page
  • Click the button to swap margins
  • Print a back page
  • If you've clicked a Print button and margins were swapped, they will be automatically restored to original values after printing.

* Mirror margins check box works for multi-page documents only
