When I try to open the program, it immediately crashes out. When it downloads, e.g. to Program files, I cannot see an icon or program there.
What file and what action you mean by saying 'open the program'? Is this AClockSetup.zip or AClockSetup.exe or AClock.exe? Did you install the program?

I have done that. However, when I start the program, the user interface flashes briefly on the screen and then disappears i.e. crashes out.
I got one of my friends to download it as well - he has the same issue. Maybe there is a file missing! Perhaps you could check it yourself by downloading onto a pc that does not have the program installed to see what the issue could be. Thanks. |

We have downloaded the current installation package and set up AstroClock without problems.
Also, there are no complaints from other users. To assist with your problem we need more information about your computer and how your installed AstroClock files look like. For example, after installation an AstroClock icon has to be created on your PC desktop. Is this available? |

In C drive, there is a folder AClock, within which are the following files: aclock configuration settings AClock astroelite.com AELITE font AstroCalc.dll cities_bas colors configuration settings timezone.bsh The AClock icon is designed like a clock. I have tried opening this from C drive itself - same issue. |

I thought I would try a re-install. so i deleted all the existing files. From your website i cannot download again as it says sorry user has already requested.
If I go to the link you provided in your email, I get this: The Web site cannot be found The Web site you are trying to access has an IP address that is configured not to accept requests that specify a port number. Please try the following: Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your browser is spelled and formatted correctly. If you reached this page by clicking a link, contact the Web site administrator to alert them that the link is incorrectly formatted. Click the Back button to try another link. HTTP Error 404.1 - File or directory not found: Web site not accessible on the requested port. Internet Information Services (IIS) Snookered!!!!! |

You should keep the installation setup file for future use. From your website i cannot download again as it says sorry user has already requested. Yes, the free and shareware software requests are granted once only and the link you downloaded that from expires in 24 hours. This is why it is a good idea to keep the installation setup file for future use. You may download a new AstroClock installation file from this link. |

It seems AstroClock has a Windows XP compatibility problem.
Do you have a chance to run it on Vista or Windows 7 computer? Another crash reason may be a non-US date format or decimal separator. Is you PC configured to Great Britain formats? |

Pardy,
We can duplicate your problem by setting Windows locality to United Kingdom. The problem will be fixed ASAP and we will send you a link to updated AstroClock. Thank you. |

We have fixed a United Kingdom format issue and you may download a new AstroClock installation file from this link.
Let us know if you have any problems with that. |
