Patrick (Star Ephemeris and Google Earth)

The reference data for 1/1/2000 match in AstroElite program and Google Earth to the second of arc, but I couldn't decipher how to set a year in Google Earth.

Truly to say, I don't understand, how you get from Google Earth the star coordinates on specific date, for example for Capella.
Do you type in Capella in search filed and then drop a pin onto the map?

I can't believe that mumbo-jumbo are valid latitude and longitude. If yes, for what date they are calculated? What negative longitude means?

AstroElite Academic Sirius positions for 0001 and 1500 AD are pretty close to Google Earth
