Elisabeth: Metatrader 4 time zone and Graphic Ephemeris

Generally, broker that provides data for Metatrader can set its server time zone to any value. Sometimes it's a local time of target auditorium or GMT+2 so trading day ends when NYSE closes (17:00 EST, 00:00 broker TZ) .

Graphic Ephemerides date axis mark-up is Greenwich time, so to synchronize them user must set time zone accordingly.
You may do this on Preferences->Fin.Data tab.

If Graphic Ephemerides do not display the latest financial data:

    1. Check that you have the latest updates for your program (Help->Updates)
    2. Run Metatrader, switch to the chart you need data from (same financial instrument and time frame) and quit Metatrader to save the data.
    3. Run AE Trader and look at the status bar left cell info. It contains information about bars loaded.

If on shorter time frames (M5-H1) the bars are not synchronous with GE date/time X axis, check that time zone setting is correct in Fin.data tab.
See a message above for details.
